More about us

Professional service,

and a fabulous place to sail.

ILORIA offers three complementary services: rental, management and sales.

Rental boats either belong to ILORIA or are placed under our management by owners looking for a rental income and a mooring. We have a fleet of over 35 sailing boats.

They come from numerous shipyards, ensuring that you have a wide variety of models and itineraries to choose from: RM yachts, Bénéteau (First, Océanis), Jeanneau (Sun Odyssey), IDB Marine (Mojito), Archambault (A31), JPK, Dehler, Alubat (Ovni), Dufour, Hanse, Grand Soleil, etc.

Our technicians carry out the day-to-day maintenance, repair and preparation of boats. We also rely on a network of local professionals (mechanics, sailmakers, etc.).

Thomas, founder and manager of Iloria

Originally from La Rochelle, I have shared your love of sailing since childhood. When I created ILORIA en Bretagne, I turned my passion into a job: giving you the opportunity to sail.

Thomas speaks French, English and German.

We rent sailing boats to groups of friends, colleagues, families, solo sailors, and anyone who enjoys sailing along our coasts. In 2019, our youngest sailor was just a few months old and the oldest was over 70!

The itineraries are as varied as the crews and boats: we offer island hopping tours, river (ria) cruises, regattas or ocean racing, group outings, trips to the Isles of Scilly or Ile d'Yeu – it's up to you what you want to do.

Whether you want a comfortable keel boat, a beachable sailing boat, on-board heating for winter, or a model that performs well in regattas, it's your choice. We are here to advise you and tell you what we have available.

Whatever your itinerary and how long it will take to complete, we are delighted to welcome you to southern Brittany.

Choose your boat

Kernével marina lies across from the Port-Louis Citadel and provides direct access to the open sea. This is where our boats are moored, at the “rental” pontoon below the harbourmaster’s office.

There are a range of amenities close to the marina, including a supermarket, grocery store, bakery, restaurant and pharmacy, where you will find everything you need before you leave. Note that there is a hospital and a clinic in Lorient.

You can also have a drink with your crew at the famous “Tour Du Monde” bar or at the charming “Villa Margaret”, just a stone's throw from your pontoon.

The ILORIA bonus:

When you confirm your reservation, you will receive a list of places where you can stock up on food and provisions.
