The Dufour 44 continues the renewal of the Dufour range. It was presented to the public at the Dusseldorf boat show for the first time in January 2024.
This monohull boat retains the brand's standards and continues the evolution begun with its smaller brothers, the Dufour 37 and Dufour 41.
The hull is taut and powerful, with plenty of volume up front. The cockpit is very large, offering a convivial space in which to relax. Ergonomics have been worked on, in particular with a very strong cockpit table and inclined helm consoles with integrated handrails.
Inside, there's still plenty of light, with large windows, a large owner's cabin and a hexagonal saloon table. There are 4 possible configurations, with 3 or 4 cabins and a galley on the starboard long side or forward of the saloon.
This is a superb, very well-built unit. The finish and joinery are impeccable.
3 rig versions are available: an easy version with a self-tacking jib, an ocean version with a genoa, and a performance version with a longer boom and the sheet back into the cockpit.
